Story and Update Progress 

I’ve started working on the new affection events, focusing first on their structure and tone.
These scenes are meant to feel more personal, quiet moments that let you connect better with each companion.

They also bring more life to the manor between the main chapters, which is something I want to strengthen throughout the upcoming 0.x5 versions.

Community Feedback

I received another comment this week mentioning, once again, the MC’s weakness and the sandbox system. It’s clear this topic keeps coming back, so I’ll take it seriously. I understand the frustration — the MC’s passive nature was intentional early on, but I agree it’s time for him to gradually grow past that state and show more of his own strength.

As for the sandbox, I hear you as well. It was originally designed as a flexible way to navigate between story points, but I understand it can be confusing right now. It might be time to rethink how it’s presented and paced, so it feels more natural and easier to follow.

Next Step

I’ve taken all of this into account.
For now, I’m focused on writing version 0.65, which will remain my main priority for the next few weeks.
After that, I’ll be taking a short break from new content to focus on a complete overhaul of the early parts of the game.

During November, I’ll take a week off work to begin this overhaul, which will include:

• Graphical improvements (since I’ve reworked many of my 3D models),
• Early MC writing (tone, dialogue, inner thoughts, and gradual evolution),
• A small in-game guide to simplify the sandbox navigation,
• And a sandbox rework / simplification (this one last, if time allows).

It’s a big step, but a necessary one before moving further ahead.
The story itself is growing stronger — and with the writing now spanning across two full Acts, I might either speed up updates after the overhaul, or simply make them larger and richer.

I want the beginning of Rise of the Monarch to truly reflect the tone of what’s coming next.
